About the event
On October 7th, 2023 Israel followed their 76 years of occupation by beginning their genocide on Gaza which is still ongoing today. The exact numbers of people killed and injured isn't clear, but estimations the death toll is in the 100,000s. And unfortunately, the numbers are continuously rising. Not to mention all the families in Lebanon that are also suffering under the Israeli attacks. Many families in Gaza have been completely wiped out, while others have lost everything. Some were able to gather up all of their savings as well as get help from relatives and through crowdfunding donations, and used all of those resources to escape with their families. And while they are now safely out of the danger of Israel's attacks, they have to start over now in a new country with very little resources.
